Kelsey is an El Dorado native with abundant knowledge of the community and its residents. She concentrates primarily on residential sales. Kelsey’s professional assets include a strong work ethic, unmatched communication skills, and continually evolving creativity. Kelsey was chosen as the 2011 Butler County Board of Realtors (BCBR) Rookie of the Year and has been a member of the BCBR President’s Club for achieving more than $2 million in sales for the last four years.
After graduating from El Dorado High School, Kelsey attended Kansas State University (KSU) where she majored in Animal Science & Industry. While at KSU, Kelsey participated in many student and community service organizations where she gained exemplary leadership and communication skills. Most notable of these were her service as the Vice President of Administration and Chapter President of Pi Beta Phi sorority, fundraising co-chair of Mortar Board (a senior honorary), and receiving a place on the dean’s honor roll for eight consecutive semesters with a 4.0 grade point average. In addition, Kelsey served as a big sister in the Big Brothers Big Sisters Program, was a tutor at Woodrow Wilson Elementary, and a member of the Alpha Zeta Agricultural Honorary. She graduated Summa Cum Laude in May 2009 and moved back to the El Dorado area.
For more than a year and a half after college, Kelsey worked as a surgical assistant in the spay/neuter clinic at the Kansas Humane Society (KHS) in Wichita, KS. She remains an avid animal lover and supporter of KHS.
Kelsey married Jeremy Sundgren in May 2010. They welcomed their first child, a daughter named Sylvie Lucille, in December of 2014. The family has a home in El Dorado.
Kelsey’s memberships include the National Board of Realtors, Butler County Board of Realtors, Kansas Association of Realtors, and South Central Kansas MLS. She serves as President of the Board of Trustees for the Kansas Oil Museum, the Membership Chair of the El Dorado Rotary Club, is a member of the El Dorado High School Alumni Board, the women’s study club Freya, El Dorado Charities, the Coutts Museum Membership Committee, Susan B. Allen Memorial Hospital Gala Silent Auction Committee, and Mothers of Preschoolers. In her spare time, Kelsey also enjoys creating and selling custom cowboy boots with her mother and sister. Kelsey is a lifelong member of St. John’s Catholic Church.
