Kelsey Sundgren
Kelsey is an El Dorado native with extensive knowledge of the community and surrounding areas. She concentrates primarily on residential sales and has sold property for nearly 10 years in Butler, Sedgwick, and Greenwood Counties. Kelsey prides herself on her excellent communication and ability to form connections with her clients. She enjoys getting to know the people she works for and understanding their goals as a family and motivations for buying and/or selling.
Kelsey was chosen as the 2011 Butler County Board of Realtors (BCBR) Rookie of the Year and has been a member of the President’s Club for achieving more than $2 million in sales every year since.
After graduating from El Dorado High School, Kelsey attended Kansas State University (KSU) where she majored in Animal Science & Industry. While at KSU, Kelsey participated in many student and community service organizations where she gained exemplary leadership and communication skills. Most notable of these were her service as the Vice President of Administration and Chapter President of Pi Beta Phi sorority, fundraising co-chair of Mortar Board (a senior honorary), and receiving a place on the dean’s honor roll for eight consecutive semesters with a 4.0 grade point average. In addition, Kelsey served as a big sister in the Big Brothers Big Sisters Program and was active in a number of ways with local youth. She graduated Summa Cum Laude in May 2009 and moved back to the El Dorado area.
For nearly 2 years post college, Kelsey worked as a surgical assistant in the spay/neuter clinic at the Kansas Humane Society (KHS) in Wichita, KS. She remains an avid animal lover and supporter of KHS.
Kelsey married Jeremy Sundgren in May 2010. They have a 6 year old daughter, Sylvie, and a 3 year old daughter, Marigold, and newborn son Dashiell. Sylvie attends St. James Catholic School in Augusta.
Kelsey’s memberships include the National Board of Realtors, Kansas Association of Realtors, and South Central Kansas MLS. She has served as President of the Board of Trustees for the Kansas Oil Museum, the Membership Chair of the El Dorado Rotary Club, is a member of the El Dorado High School Alumni Board, and Freya Study Club. Kelsey is a lifelong member of St. John’s Catholic Church.
